what do you know about the prophet Mohammad?
how do you find muslims?

i think it is the one true religion of peace and harmony. and pple who dont understand it just take some parts which make sense to them and write the part of literuture without complete details and pple get the wrong idea and hold on to it to prove islam wrong. but they just dont no how to understand it

I have a very basic understanding of Islam. I know that Mohammad is said to be a prophet, that Jesus is also considered to be a prophet.

I have read some of the Koran, but I had a difficult time in understanding it. I plan to check it out in the future. Right now I am reading the NIV Bible and the Book of Mormon, while I do often go online and read the English version of the Koran, I have not devoted so much time to it.

I understand that despite what many people say, Mohammed did not likely have sexual relations with a nine year old as the time frames show she was older. I understand that the religion started in Mecca and met with Resistance, eventually though Mecca embraced the religion.

I understand that the Koran is peaceful in nature, and only speaks of retaliation when Muslims are attacked. I also understand that non-Muslims have a chance of going to Heaven if they performed good deeds.

I understand that while the some parts of the Middle East has some fanatical believers, most of the rest of the world has peaceful Muslims.

I also know that most of the Muslims I have read on this site have been very diplomatic and kind hearted despite the insults hurled at them.

Islam is the only religion accepted by the god in the heavens.
it was the religion of all prophets sent by god to this earth.
each prophet had his own version of Islam to suit his time.
prophet Mohamed is the last prophet his great miracle
the Quran is a live miracle unlike the miracles of the other prophets.

Miracles of the quraan include scientific/literal/spiritual etc.....
no human was able to bring a paragraph like it since it came 1400 years ago.

Muslims today in general don't really reflect the true teachings of their religion.

Islam means submission to the will of God. Mohammad (pbuh) was the last messenger and prophet of God.

I wish I knew how to find some Muslims, but living here in Christianfundamentalistsburg, I may be the only one around! I do have some lovely Muslim internet friends, though.

I have studied the Quran in a 400 level college class before along with research ever since. I found Islam to be a very dogmatic, ungodly, oppressive, violent, chauvinistic, arab, dishonest, anti-Christ, anti-social, facist, rigid, unhealthy, unbeneficial religion.

Quran Surah IX:29 Fight against such of those who have been given the scripture (Christians and Jews) as believe not in Allah nor the last day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by his messenger, and follow not the religion of truth until they pay the tribute readily being brought low.

In the Qur'an 47:4, it says, "When you encounter the infidels, strike off their heads till you've made a great smote among them." And again,

2:193, "Fight therefore against them until the only worship be that of Allah."

That is really the defining characteristic of the Quran and Muhammads life itself; IT INCITES VIOLENCE and oppression. It teaches that violence and oppression against people that dont believe as you is a good and holy thing. That is why, sad to say, that most Muslims turn a blind eye to violence or secretly root for people like Osama Bin Ladin because they are committing the acts of violence their religion calls for but they themselves are not willing to do, especially after tasting of the prosperity of western civilization.

This is as any other religion but it is misunderstood, since majority of the leaders in the mosque are giving very hateful speeches to the new generation to hate everyone, Jews, Christian who they call them pigs and apes. And kill everyone who is not Muslims even between themselves they hate themselves Sunni against shitte.

Islam is a religion started over 1000 years ago created by a man named Mohammed. He listen to the Christain and Jewish merchants when they would come to the city where he lived.
He decided to make his own religion for his people. He claimed to have visions of "Gabriel. "(a biblical angel)
So he made his own religion and got many followers.
Half of the thing mohammed taught have been lost like the fair treatment of women. When he died his friends and relatives wrote a book called the Koran which because it has about 20 authors it contradicts itself hundreds of times .
Mohammed desired to concur all the possible land for Ala.
So in that book their is a rule that if you die killing people who dont believe you will get a special place in heaven(talk about religious intolerance). Ala is a wise ,crafty , and extremely cruel...Unlike the Jew and Christain God who is wise,powerful, and loving.
Muslims are all over the world....there are more Muslims than Christan's today.Their are Muslims in Pakistan,Iran,Iraq,Saudi Arabia, turkey,egypt, Africa, america and many other places.
Muslims have concured alot of land but much has been recovered .Muslim once owned spain, france, and isreal.
Muslims are extreme in many countries and they hate all who dont love Ala. So remeber to pray for them because in their culture its hard to convert, if one does their family rejects them and may attept to kill them!

I know that Mohammed denied Christ. That is enough to know that everything else he says is false. AS far as Muslims go, I feel sorry for them, slaves to a barbaric and cruel prophet. Whom they must submit to, or die. Each denying that there is anything wrong with Mohammed, and praising him, the praise which should rightly go to God.
