I was always wondering how much smoking could maybe be the deciding factor for some women... . Does dating a smoker bother you? how about smoking weed too? Just curious :-)

I think smoking is a huge turn off; it smells bad, is too much money for what it's worth and it's unhealthy for you and your company. It's also a turn off because I want to be with someone who cares enough about himself to take care of his body. As for smoking weed...I like someone who is clear headed and doesn't need external habits to make him happy or to have a good time. Plus, not having to worry about getting in trouble for it is a big relief, too.

I don't even like walking past people who are smoking outside of the store! I would never date a smoker, I don't even like being around them. Not because they're not nice people, but because they smell! Even when they're not smoking the smell of cigarettes lingers on their clothing and their hair.
I don't want to be rude but I have to say that anyone who does not smoke, or is not used to being around smokers is going to find that smell very offputting.
(Also, even a non smoker who is around smokers will smell this way.)

I despise cigarrette smoke...hate it. My boyfriend started smoking after we had been dating for about 2 years and I made it loud and clear that if he was going to smoke, it wasn't going to be around me. He eventually quit. As for weed, I don't mind if it is a casual occasional thing...but I don't believe excessive use of any drug-- even if it seems harmless, is a good thing. I'd prefer my guy doesn't smoke anything. First off, I don't like the smell...and second, I just find it to be a turn off.

If she likes you enough it won't matter. People who think kissing a smoker is "like kissing an ash tray" are close minded and easily brainwashed by propaganda and not worth your time anyway. As long as you're an outside smoker and are courteous about it (e.g. don't blow second hand smoke in her face), she probably won't care. Ditto about the weed - anyone who's going to take the "straight edge" stance and tell you smoking weed makes you evil and undatable isn't worth your time.

i would never date a smoker because my eyes get watery when people are smoking around me.

For me yes it`s a problem....
Firstly because wasting money
And then I would not like it at all for my children to have a dad who is a smoker...since as parents we must set the right examples for our children....
Because children normally do what their parents do....
They should not see us as a failure for them....because smoking is bad in all aspects

NOOOOO! For one, smoking and smoking weed is COMPLETELY bad for you!! For some girls, it may be a turn on, but for most, it's a COMPLETE turnoff! It's gross and makes you smell bad. Blech! Just say NO!

if he's a light smoker and does taske care of his oral hygene, i'd date him. If he does any kind of drugs (this includes Nyquil users) not in a million years.
