I see that a lot of people are saying ebay but as others said, this is not always the best because you have to have a credit card and pay a posting fee. This can cause problems if you are under 18, don't have excellant/any credit, or if you painting aren't sold. The same also goes for Amazon.

Another option is myspace and another, not so commonly used, would be classifides online. They work much like the newspaper but are on a more widely used source and have no posting fee. You are also able to upload pictures of your paintings.

If you are having problems with uploading photos, it really easier than you think. If your paintings are small enough you can scan them but you risk the lack of texture that oil painting possess. A safer and more likely option is taking a photo with your digital camera. Finally, follow the directions given to you at the time of purchase. (With said camera!)

Good Luck and I hope they sell!

Don,t list on E-BAY!! Once you start to list you have to sell what you list up to a certain amount befor you can open a store. Then you have to pay if you sell or not. YES, this is business but soon you will have so much tied up that you will end up backing out. I did this for a while. The only people who made money was e-bay!

Ebay is expensive. You can setup a Myspace and upload photos of all of your paintings. My parents are selling customized handbags on myspace. The exposure on Myspace is incredible.

ME TOO. Ebay of course. It is expensive tho. If you can take the canvas to someplace busy and sit and paint. Also take them to local stores. NOT department stores. Hotels, barber shops....get signed receipts and also offer to give them a commission.

AND VINY_R...how are they suppose to contact you when you don't allow im or emails? Geez....

Hey kid....another thing is to set up a coop. Email me.

eBay is certainly one option. Novika (http://www.novika.com/) is another website that sells this kind of stuff worldwide. Many painters are already selling stuff there. Other option is to have your own website with a payment gateway.
