We have kittens on the way and I always name my animals human names. My existing cats are names Harley, Toby, Emma and Polly. Anyone have any suggestions for girls and boys names that would be great for cats?

Two names I really like for girls are Sophie and Chloe. I'm still stuck on boy names though.

Penny, Alexis, Madeline, Sophia, Jillian, Penelope, Felicity, Anastacia, Anabelle, Isabelle, Grace, Diane, Samantha, Charlotte, Carly, Sari, Kara, Maggie, Thomas, Ryland, Jeremy, Tyler, Parker, Austin, Matthew (oh that would be super cute!), Kenny, Tatum, Joshua, Bennie, and Alfred (that would be funny).

Good luck.

I had a girl cat named Amos because when rescued her she was so small we thought she was a boy. She knew her name and came to it so we left it Amos. She loved bbq potato chips. We have a Caleb, my mom has Collin and Anika. You really have to see them and then the names will come. I have a boy named Bubba but he really was a Bubba he is very old and skinny now though.

I named 9 kittens (two batches borh the same day from different moms) after composers: Beethoven, Schubert, Ravel, Bach, Mozart
Another time I named them after football players: Mosely and Riggins (old 1980s redskins players).
How about politicians? Hilary, Barrack, or George and Dick, depending on your political leanings.
or historical figures with recognizable names like Golda, Indira, Cher.
Most recent cats came in pairs: Mork and Mindy, and Boris and Natasha

My sister named some her kittens with human names by splitting famous peoples names. She had six kittens to name and they turned out to be:
Charlie
Sheen
Elton
John
She also name a couple:
Winnie
Pooh
I have a Maine Coon named Calvin Coonidge and I have a little pound kitty that we named Mini Cooper because he is so tiny compared to the 20 lb Maine Coon. We have since renamed him, because he purrs so loud, he is now Mini CooPurr.
