"Behold, the 'old' man is passed away, and the 'new' man is reborn." -- thus says The Bible

Yep, sounds like reincarnation to me. You were "reincarnated" into a holy-rollin, Bible bashing, hellfire-obsessed drone.

With your attitude and beliefs there is no reason to try to explain this to you as you would not believe it anyhow. There is a difference, and all I will say is read Matthew in the New Testament WITH UNDERSTANDING. Get some help with it from someone WHO KNOWS the Word of God.

Why is it that people who dont know a thing about Catholicsm immediately make an insult to us Christians when you are asking us for an answer???

Are you sure you even read the Bible? If you read the passages before and after you wouldn't even think it refers to reincarnation.

It is NOT reincarnation.
Reincarnation is the belief that when one dies, one's body decomposes, but one is reborn in another body. It is the belief that one has lived before and will live again in another body after death.

At the end of time ALL of us will be rejoined to OUR bodies, NOT someone else's!

I mean c'mon! Reincarnation is like me dying now and being born again as Arnold Swarchenegger or George W. Bush! We Christians dont teach something like that!

There are two scriptures passages that explain this ..In a nut shell , Jesus said " you are DEAD in your tresspasses and sins " , This means that everyone born has a dead spirit . The other script i s , But you were made ALIVE again, unto righteousness. This means upon salvation , the spirit came alive, or was born again , so to speak . Christians naturally believe the Bible, which states . It is appointed unto man ONCE to die, and then the judgement . P.S. There are many many people that call themselves Christians who aren't Christians at all . If someone comes along and judges you dude, they are in error ...

A born-again Christian is someone who has turned to Christ for their salvation, and as a result has become part of God's family forever. All this takes place as God's Spirit works in our lives.

You see, by nature we aren't members of God's family, and we don't have any right to inherit eternal life. The reason is because of our sin. We have rebelled against God, and because of that, the Bible says, we are "separated from the life of God ... due to the hardening of (our) hearts" (Ephesians 4:18). No, you may not see yourself as a bad person (and you probably aren't)—but in God's eyes even one sin is enough to keep you out of heaven.

But Jesus Christ came to save us and to make us part of His family forever! He did this by dying for our sins on the cross and by conquering death through His resurrection. You see, as a human being you were born into a family—and nothing can ever change that. But when we come to Christ we are spiritually reborn into another family—the family of God. The Bible says to Christ's followers, "You have been born again ... through the living and enduring word of God" (1 Peter 1:23).

My prayer is that you too may be born again and become part of God's family. By a simple prayer of faith, tell God that you know you are a sinner, and you are sorry for your sins. Then ask Christ to come into your life and save you. When you do, God will come to live within you by His Spirit, and you will be born again.

It doesn't say anything like you say.
Read John 3:1-12.
You sound a lot like Nicodemus did when Christ explained it to him. See also Ezekiel 11:19, and Romans 6:4 & 7:6.

There's a difference between believing in "reincarnation" like being young now old, and reincarnation, being born, then "dying" then being born again.

wha eva

Not that your really interested, but being born of the spirit is not the same as being born of the flesh. it's a profound mystery, one in which your not likley to understand, but do answer the reincarnation thing, how about this: hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to DIE ONCE, and after that to face judgement,

here's yer sign!
