Cupid would need to find someone without shooting them with the love arrow. It doesn't work on magical beings. If you would compare him with a modern day mortal person, he would be the always working with nobody type and invisible. Also, there are many people without a girlfriend or boyfriend, right? So, why does Cupid? Also, he doesn't need one because he feels the same way when he makes two others fall into love.

I did.
But the girl found a human and now i can go back to work helping others find love.
This is what my job is, helping people find their mates.
I know this isn't the answer you are looking for but the only thing i can say is he is just like me.
He wants to help everyone else before himself.
