If you call the police or local humane society, they can give you a name of the closest rehabilitation center. They will usually come and pick it up, since it is illegal for you to have/transport a non permitted hawk (injured or not).
Make sure you call ASAP because you can get in trouble legally (huge federal fine, and jail time) if you do not notify the authorities right away (there are ways of telling how long a bird has been out of the wild).
If they are not going to pick it up that same day, you can go to the pet store and buy a mouse or chick to feed it. They need to eat every day.

depends on where you live. If you're in the US/UK, call 911 and they'll tell you what to do next. It is very important to see that the hawk doesn't die. If it's in shock, put a sock over its head. If it's completely paralysed, then don't. Don't try to feed it anything unless you're trained. it can choke itself. See if there's any bleeding. If yes, get benzoin/ solution from the nearest pharmacy and apply it to the bleeding areas with a cotton wool. Till then keep it wrapped in something soft, beware of its talents, they're really powerful. If you can't handle it, keep it in a basket with sufficient air-supply.
Hope it can fly again, though chances are low, if the wing is off...

you opt for a wild animal rehabilitation center. I stay in Canada, so have restricted information. try the SPCA, they might have contact information for wild animal care. No Rehabber is on Vaction even as the animals require nutrition and medical interest no count number what the day. you need to attempt IWRC, international organic world Rehabilitators Council, placed in California, yet would have numbers for someone community. try a birding crew, or the college, someone might want to understand someone! solid success, and thank -you for helping. wish the chicken survives. Many are hit via automobiles as they hunt the line edges for street kill.

To the nearest animal hospital or your vet. That was very nice of you to look after a hawk.

depends wether the bird is yours or a wild one , i run a wild bird hospital , so my advice is to go as soon as you can to your local vet . birds bones heal very fast so if he is not treated soon it will set in the wrong position and he will never fly again , if it is your bird then take it to you vet ! if it is a wild bird most vets will not charge for wild birds so ring around , whatever you do , do it fast .

Telephone the vets, or get in touch with a police station, and they will give you information on who in the area is an expert with birds of prey

you need to look up a wildlife centre and take him there, most vets will put him to sleep. i don't know what area you are in, but go for an animal charity, they are usually the better people to take him to, i used to work in a wildlife centre thats how i know,

If you have a vet school near you then that is a good option, alternatively a normal vet or RSPCA.
