What people fail to realize is that Bush & Cheney both have private interest that have made them a lot of money based on this war. Its time they opened their eyes and stopped hiding behind their political views.
Jonathan- Sir, you are right!
MB-It is all about greed! Our oil prices have sky-rocketed, and Bush is an Oilman 1st and a U.S. President 2nd. Have you heard of Halliburton, Cheney's "company" with the big Military Contract?
FieldMouse- "F' the 2pts! I'm more concerned with the loss of life their greed represents.
GREED=DESTRUCTION
Andy- What the H*LL are you talking about?
Cantu & Whoawhoa-Great answers!
Watcher- You made a great point until your last sentence. Such is life just means you are too passive.
FOA- FYI! Its not a conspiracy theory, it is fact!
I Hate Liberals #4- You are soooooo wrong. Bush & Cheney both have private interest in this war, that they both GREATLY profit from. They could both wipe their a**es with their Presidential salaries!
Answerman- TY! You are exactly right!
Roadwarrior- Yes, sadly history does repeat itself.
Vegaswoman-Your ignorance makes me laugh when in actuality I should be crying. Enjoy the 2pts, you are nothing more than a sleeping sheep! It's time to wake-up and open your eyes!
McHummer- My point exactly! Lets cut benefits to our Military Personnel, so we can line Cheney's pockets.
Hisemiester- Its time for you to open your eyes!
Pathfinder- True to fact!
Max- How can you say an oilman & a Halliburton executive hasn't prospered from this war?
m1a1..- Open your eyes! Bush has made money in oil profits, and Cheney from Halliburton.
Fear it- You are a blinded sheep, keep on grazing in the field of ignorance.
Simon- It is stoppable!

I think that Bush and Cheney have mad more than enough money off of the war and it's all a shame because it's coming all out of the taxpayers pockets. I think their greed is disgusting because innocent people are over in Iraq dying day after day for nothing while the Bush Administration is smuggling trillions of dollars. What's even more disgusting is that they don't even think twice about what they're doing.

If only this was about money but this be rather about souls and dream imprisonment. People wake up & smell your soul dream. The presidency and the United Nations currently are of the same greed sadly I report.

It's their corporate scumbag friends they work for as much as themselves.
Latest news:
At the Walter Reed hospital where the scandal over treatment is happenning, it was revealed today that the staff was cut from 300 in 2002 to a total of _60_ doctors, nurses and support staff for thousands of wounded soldiers. They're cutting back staff instead of increasing it in a time of war. Does that make any sense at all?
The services at the hospital are no longer provided or overseen by the US goverment or military budgets; instead, the services were _privatized_. Guess who got the US$120million 5-year contract?
Halliburton.

This is an unanswerable question. To try and say "they are making money off the war" "they are greedy with the war" "oh, it's the conservatives" "oh it's the liberals" is just beyond idiotic.
If you're a conservative saying it's the liberals fault, or vice versa, you are an idiot. It's war. Based on faulty intelligence and done with the best of intentions.
Instead of a bunch of people making assumptions about a topic they only know what the media's telling them, how about you wait until the congressional hearings are over and the truth comes out?

They were given money, but the control on how the war start, progress, and end do not rest in their hands. The ones who really control the war gave them money to play as public figures.
In short, event if they want to stop the war, they couldn't.

Have anyone thought of Julius Caesar or Alexander The Great ever wanting to stop at their desire of conquest of the whole world?. They weren't successful mainly because of the limitation of their own armies. But such people's greed and vanity have no bounds. It eventually led to the demise of their giant empires. Bush and Cheney are no different. History indeed repeats itself.

I never have an issue understanding the rich, which is a large part why there is so much suffering in the US and the world today!
When is enough enough? I think most people could live a Utopian life style on a few Million. Why do people need 27 BILLION?
I know, they earned it! And that is true! Unfortunately, it is off the backs of others!
This country is full of people who are greedy and will do anything to get wealth, include start a war in Iraq!
