Never happened to me, either way. My colleague, though, ordered a brand new Puma and it never even got registered - fell off the transporter on the forecourt! Oww . . .

We were called to an accident on the A580 main road out of Liverpool and it was reported that the car had rolled so we were expecting the worst,on arrival we found a brand new Jensen Interceptor written off but no sign of the driver.a search was started and we found him uninjured sat in a field crying.
It seems he had just taken delivery at Liverpool docks and the car was not taxed or insured as he was going to do it when he got the car home,Even the Police did not have the heart to prosecute him and gave him a lift home.

Not sure of your exact question. You are going to trade your old car and had an accident before you got to the dealership to trade it in? The dealership will give you less for your trade in. If you got your new car and had an accident on the way home, you will have to deal with your insurance company and get it fixed. Dealer is not responsible.
I have never had either situation happen to me, thank heaven, but I have worked for dealerships for 20 years and have seen both happen to customers.

My mom was once taken her Nissan Micra to part exchange and the car broke down out the dealers and refused to start.. We just left it there and said that it was her nerves in getting into the car park (with all the new cars) why she parked it outside, We gave the keys, huried the paper work and LEGGED it.

Never happened to me but I once saw a brand new car getting crushed on the transporter. Some let the upper deck down on to it.

Not this year, but the first car I ever bought, I crashed it about two hours after picking it up! Luckily no-one was injured, and it took a tractor and a new back window to get it back on the road.

No, thank goodness. I did have a customer of my cousins by a brand new Harley and drive it out of the dealership right into a telephone poll though. He walked back in and bought a new one. Must be nice.
