Prays towards funky town, that is hardly a phrophecy since the majority of scholars date the gospel of mathew between the years 70 and 100. Mathew could have written that after the event actually occured?

startthis..., sadly, you where not there to witness any of the prophecies that are written in the bible. Someone could have just made up that they actually occured without really occuring.
Show me something YOU experienced or saw, or witnessed or an archeology find that proofs something.

Semper Fi 83, Its actually not a miracle for the people who where victims of the holocaust or the starving children in Africa. Waking up everday is probably filled with pain and suffering for some people, who actually wish they where not born at all.

Sorry can't do it.
I can tell you that as a graduate in Anthropology, all of the "finds" that prove biblical myth, are dubious at best...
It's a book of mythology, nothing more.

There are over 200 specific prophesies that were written hundreds of years before the New Testament was even written. They were fulfilled to the letter. These were about the Savior Jesus Christ. There are many more pertaining to the nation of Israel also. Reason tells us that the Bible is the True Word of God on this basis alone. I used to think that Nostrodamus was the hottest thing around, until I compared. Nostradomus is vague as at best. You can put any situation in his quatrains and make it say anything that you like. But the Bible gives us exact names, places, etc. Everything prophesied in the Has been fulfilled, and there are hundreds of them. With this reasoning, we can come to the conclusion that everything is true and the rest will happen as it is written!

There is a few scriptures about this. One of them is (2Timothy 3:16,17-- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17-- That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.) Also (2 Peter 1:21-- For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.)

The largest proof of the God-inspire Bible are the messianic prophecies. There are over 300 in the Old Testament, all fulfilled by Jesus. The odds of that happening by chance are 10 to the 17th power. Astronomical.
Evidence: The oldest manuscript for the book of Isaiah was written over 400 years before the birth of Jesus. Do your research before you shoot mine down. :)

OK.. here is a REAL answer.
Why do we waste our time trying to PROVE something, when it really does not matter?
No matter what you succeed in PROVING, those with closed minds will not listen. They will continue to believe whatever they want, regardless. Look at the people who sit and scoff at evolution, fighting it tooth and nail, because it rocks their little "God Said" biblical world. Too much for them to take, they will brand it as lies, devils work and brand you as a child of daemons.
Those who believe in the bible being Gods word will not listen to anything you say, no matter how well you PROVE it.
And to me, that is just a waste of energy and time. I have much better ways of spending my time than trying to make people listen who frankly don't give a s**t.
I believe they are teaching stories, they are little slices of events that may, or may not, have happened in the Israelite or Christian cultures. I think most of them are re-written stories from earlier cultures, adapted for use by the monotheistic groups. Who really cares outside of those who use the stories for their own teachings?
It is unimportant. What they want to believe, they are welcome to it. I have other ideas, and I am content with that. I don't need proof, to be honest, and I certainly don't need to waste my time trying to prove to deaf ears.

Sorry. There is PLENTY of proof. You just dont want to believe. Every prophecy of Jesus' first coming was written BEFORE 400 B.C. but, you CHOOSE not to believe them. As Jesus said, "If a person will not believe the SCRIPTURES, they WILL NOT believe even though one should rise from the dead".....theBerean

Jesus predicted the destruction and razing of the Temple in Jerusalem.
See ye not these things? verily I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. -Matthew 24:2.
The Romans sacked and destroyed the Temple in 70 AD.
There are hundreds of prophesies regarding Christ that were fulfilled.

If you have faith, you do not need proof.
If you do not have faith, why try to believe in fairy tales ?
It is futile to try to demonstrate to someone that has faith that he is delusional.
