You may have an allergy, but the most likely cause of the itching is opiates in the medication. If you're on high doses of e.g. codeine your skin can become hyper-sensitive and feel as though it's itchy. It's only temporary though; once you stop taking the medication, the itching will stop.

Give some more information next time cause some meds like percocet, oxcy-contin, tramadol and other opiates will cause itchiness without wine , not that you would be drinking on that sort of medication anyway, but yeah probably got a bit of an interaction yeah. As long as its not affecting your breathing you should be o.k.

Certainly could be either/or both. First stop drinking the wine & see if that's the problem, then find out from the drug store if one of the side effects of the meds you are on is itchy skin. If you are all rashy - see the doc.
