if that's what you need to be relaxed, comfortable, and at ease with yourself, go for it. without doing so, you're not being true to yourself and are setting yourself up for anxiety and depression.

You're 17. Just hang in there a little longer till you are out of the house and get some privacy. Then you can dress when you want, find resources on the internet, and most importantly get some counseling. Find a counseler you knows about gender issues and start working through this. A couple of years from now, you'll have much more confidence and you'll feel much better about crossdressing.

I wish I could tell you how to stop, but unfortunately all my clinical experience says that is unlikely that the urges will ever change even if you are able to refrain from the behavior. It would be really wise at this point in your life to see a professional counselor, particularly one who deals with gender identity and sexual disorders who can help you to sort out your feelings and make some decisions about your future. Best of luck.

I have read that it is a permanent cycle.
You do it for a while... then you destroy all your clothes and things that you have bought... you vow never to do it again.
You start again... you destroy everything again... you vow never to do it again.
Etc.
At least, that's a path that some male-to-female cross dressers have lived. Self-hatred for this choice... and a deep need to do it.
Good luck.. it looks like accepting it will be a huge challenge for you.
Of course, maybe you can get rid of the urge... but your story is fairly common.
What you really need are tips from someone who has done what you want to do--- namely a cross dresser that has quit for life. I haven't heard of such a thing... but he probably exists somewhere.

So what if your a in the closet cross dresser, just dont get caught in your mother or sister clothes. Everybody has weird fantasy and yes! some people live them out. So if that's what you want to do then go for it. But do it proudly and dont be ashamed about it.

Don't try to stop wearing women's stuff, just enjoy yourself & dress-up like a girl whenever you want.
