After there is no more room on Earth for all the people where will we go? Have there been any scientific advances as to where we will set up shop next? Will it be on the moon? Or perhaps under the water?

Why would we necessarily need to live "under" the water? We already live "on" the water in boats. Water covers 2/3 of the planet's surface. It would be far easier to live "on" the ocean than "in" the ocean.
In addition, since the moon doesn't have an atmosphere, we probably wouldn't set up shop on the moon. Granted, we might have a space station, but not an earth colony. We might set up a colony on Mars, which is more viable for sustaining life, if we could find water.

Earth is the only habitable place that we know of in the universe. We need to take better care of it. Living under the oceans would need a huge infrastructure. It makes more sense to reduce population to sustainable levels.

It's pretty unlikely there will ever be a self-sustaining colony on the moon.

We are already heavily dependent on the ocean for food so it will not save us from over population.

The best thing each of us can do for the environment is to have no children.
