Contact your OB-GYN or family doctor. Pregnancy and medications do not mix very well in a lot of cases. The risk is too great. If someone advises you to take something, please remember, medications that work for some people can have deadly effects on others. You are now caring for two, and one is fragile, it's best to be sure; call or see your doctor.

the only thing that is safe is to inhale some eucalyptus
(steam)or try some lozengers
unfortunately theres not much you can really do I suffer from hay fever and a allergy sensitive to dust and grass and sneezed for hours my eyes were puffy and i had a blotchy rash and ended up at the hospital seeking some relief to only find out i had to just try and deal with it as there was nothing they could give me. You cant even have nasal spray as it contains Psuedoephidrine(nasal decongestant)
generally unless it says "safe to take during pregnancy" i would not take it
good luck and congrats

Not really going to have the answer to this question just wanted to say if you have any condition call your doctor. Sometimes as women i believe we take carrying a child easily.. Your in a very fragile state I had three healthy children and just recently lost a child because i didnt report what i thought was minor to my doctor. And i would be 22 weeks this week.
A simple phone call is very worth it. They dont get bothered by you calling. I always think what if i would of called. Your baby is a precious gift. God has blessed you. Have a happy delievery. thanks for listening

A couple of things you can do that would be harmless to your baby are 1) get some eucalyptus oil (or you could use Vicks) put a little of in in the lavatory (bathroom sink) pour boiling water into the sink, bend down close to the sink, cover your head and the sink with a towel and take a couple of deep breaths. 2) get a neti pot, available at many health food stores fill it with warm salted water and use it to rinse out your nose

THIS IS A VERY SMELLY CURE BUT IT WORKS AND IS COMPLETELY HARMLESS TO YOU AND YOUR BABY. (NOT SO HARMLESS TO ANYONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE THAT HAS AN INTACT SENSE OF SMELL) LOL. TAKE A LARGE ONION AND CUT IT AS IF FOR ONION RINGS. "FRY" IN A PAN WITH APPLE CIDER VINEGAR INSTEAD OF OIL. WHEN THE ONIONS ARE MOSTLY CLEAR, TURN OFF HEAT AND ADD CORNMEAL UNTIL ITS A VERY LOOSE PLAY-DOH CONSISTENCY. TAKE A LARGE PIECE OF CLOTH (IF YOU HAVE FLANNEL, THAT WORKS THE BEST BUT IN A PINCH, USE AN OLD T-SHIRT (TOWELS ARE TOO THICK) CHEESECLOTH WORKS BUT IS MORE MESSY...) AND PUT IN CENTER OF CLOTH, FOLD OVER IN HALF AND PLACE ON YOUR CHEST WHEN LYING DOWN. BREATH DEEP AND SLOWLY FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN STAND IT. ITS A "POULTICE" RECIPE PASSED THROUGH OUR FAMILY AND IT REALLY TRULY WORKS. YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT WHAT YOU COUGH UP, BOTH IN CONTENT AND QUANTITY. THIS IS ALSO GOOD FOR SMOKERS COUGH. THROW AWAY UNUSED PORTIONS. NOT CAUSE ITS DANGEROUS, JUST CAUSE IT SMELLS. (KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN YOUR LITTLE ONE HAS A COUGH OR THE CROUP)
