I think that tonight, Randy Couture will lose to Tim Sylvia. I hate Sylvia with a passion, and Couture is god. But on paper, its not favoring Couture, though, stranger things have happened too. Well, if Sylvia wins, there is no doubt Mirko will get him. So, in my opinion, Mirko will fight Sylvia for the Heavyweight Championship belt, and get it.

Mirko is scheduled to fight Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 70 on April 21. As you probably already know, Randy did win the Heavyweight title. He actually said in an interview today (3/5/2007) that he wants his first title defense to be against Cro Cop. Randy said;
“I’d like to fight him now before he gets his feet any wetter in the cage. I think the tactics in the octagon are still pretty new to him, and that’s maybe something I can exploit.”
Now the only question is, will Dana White grant that request.

Mirko's next fight is at UFC 70 on April 21, in Manchester, England. It will be against Brazilian fighter Gabriel Gonzaga and if or, better yet, when Mirko wins it's on to the title fight with who ever gets the heavyweight championship tonight.
