If you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior over your life, He will forgive your sins. You are considered a new creature. Your name is written in the Book of Life. If you die before accepting Christ, it is the same as rejecting Him. There is only one recourse for that. Hell.

Yes Jesus is the son of God and in fact he is God. He is the only way to get to Heaven. In the old testament days to be forgiven of your sins there had to be a blood sacrifice (usually an animal depending on the sin). When Jesus died on the cross he was a one time sacrifice for all our sins. All you have to do is accept him as your personal Lord and savior and ask him to forgive you of your sins to go to heaven. But don't be foolish, you have to turn away from sin for this to work. Just pray for the knowledge and the power to keep you on the right track. Read John chapter 1 and it will shed some light on your questions about our savior.

Yes it is. He is the only one that overcame death. All of the other religions don't have a savior. Jesus tells us in His Word how we can over come our sin nature. St. John 3:5 tells us why, Acts 2:38 tells us how. We ask for forgiveness, we go down into the water in the name of Jesus Christ to have those sins washed away, and then He will give us the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language to overcome any sinful behaviors that we have. Then He will do a miracle in your life. He took alcoholism away for me. It is awesome. Experience it today. You will never look back!!

Many believe it is true.

Many do not.

If there is no afterlife... what you believe will not matter.

If there is an afterlife, there may or may not be a God.

If there is a God, there may or may not be a hell.

If there is a hell, you better be praying you won't go there.

so.. you could just look at religion as "fire insurance"

I can't force you to believe... I can only present arguments in favor of considering the possibility that what I believe is real.

Faith is belief in the unprovable. Note that if the unprovable gets disproven then faith ends.

Yes. He claimed to be God when He called Himself "I Am" like Moses heard God say from the burning bush. That's why the Jewish leaders tried to stone him.

Don't wait to accept Him. He will give you a new life like you've never known was possible.

Do you guys ever get tired of this? Seriously, is the only reason you're not banging on my front door a lack on comfortable walking shoes?

I DO NOT BELIEVE what you do. Get it. No Hell, no Jesus, no God. And your words will not change it. You know failing to understand that other people have different oppinions or are seperate from your world is a form of autism. As in a mental illness. As long as Christians fail to accept that other people don't beleive what they do, they are classed as mentally ill to the rest of us.

If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth you SHALL BE SAVED. If you Reject Gods gift of life and what his son did you will go to HELL.We will all be judged for what we have done but if you believe in Christ he will speak in YOUR favor.

That is correct...Jesus gave us a free choice to get to know him and get to heaven because he loves everyone and wants them to spend eternity with him....

Hope to see you their...ROFL

Of course this is true. "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

i do no longer think of i could choose the two. to choose to be forgiven possible have had to have finished something incorrect. i could desire that i does no longer could desire to ever do something so incorrect as to could desire to plead for forgiveness. One could desire to have the means to assert sorry and that's the tip of the subject. As for desirous to be forgotten, does anybody EVER choose to be forgotten?
