The best lunch would be the chippy a block and a half west off the main roundabout which joins the London Road with the prom. Its next to an arcade (I know I know, everything is next to an arcade) But they do the best fish and chips in Saafend!Enjoy. We sit on the sea wall eating it occasionally on a Saturday night.

Well I live in Sunny Cape town, but I did use to live in S.O.S. and if you like indian food go to the Shima on leigh broadway. Unfortunately Ive eaten in the best restaurants in London and I have to say theres no going back to Southend, Take a trip up town and go to the 'Floridita' in Wardour street Soho W1.
