Some girls are shy, that is, by their education, they were told not to accept any male's proposition on the first trial; therefore many girls tend to play the very hard to get rather than give in to the first admirer . But for us men, this kind of mixed signals is often difficult to decipher, however, from those signals that are simply meant to be a flat No. How can you help? Thanks.

I don't know if you'll believe or like my answer .... but, I don't know many girls that were taught not to accept a guys proposition on the first trial. If a girl likes a guy she will not turn him down just to avoid looking over-eager. (I'm assuming by "proposition" you mean asking them out for a date?) My advice to you is this, if you ask a girl out and she says no but you suspect she is just playing "hard to get" (again, that would be highly unlikely in my opinion) I would then say, "Well, I'd love to see you sometime, here's my number please call me if you'd like to get together sometime for a cup of coffee, or a drink." At that point, if a girl were REALLY interested in you she would contact you.

P.S. If a girl really would turn you down in the interest of "playing games" with you ... would you really want to date her?

you can generally tell a person's feelings by observing the body language and facial expressions. if she says no, but there's interest in her eyes and/or smile, then its worth some pursuit, if you're keen. if the no is with a flat, hard i'm-not-interested look, then back off.

hmmm, tough question.. i guess, just ask her... when the girl starts to act a little flirty or close to you then maybe she likes you but when she is avoiding you that means no... she gives you the cold treatment... just don't give up!
