Humans have worshiped THOUSANDS of gods and goddesses throughout history. That doesn't mean that they exist. You are free to worship any of them - or none.
You may not need a religion - millions of people don't. In any case, it's not wise to choose one without thoroughly investigating it, so you're sure what you're getting yourself into. It's a good idea to learn about other religions, too. Some high schools have Comparative Religion courses that cover the basics of various world religions. It's interesting to know what people believe and why, even if you don't adopt the beliefs.

This is a question that just INVITES, no, it BEGS for bad answers. Rather invariably (and you can already see examples of this), there will be atheists coming forth and telling you they know the secrets of the universe and that they know for a fact that no god can exist. One of the first things every person learns entering into a scientific field of study is that you CANNOT prove a negative and that's what these people are claiming to do. There is no science in atheism. It's all faith. And there will be people from different religions telling you that their religion is correct and all others false.
I'm an agnostic as you are but I do not feel confused. I think this is an answer too great for anyone to truly "know" the answer. It's a matter of faith, and faith is what makes sense to you.
Consider this: Most people believe the universe started with a big bang. But we know from Newton's law that it could not have started itself. Matter doesn't create itself. So we must ask, where did that matter come from and what caused the big bang?
Figure out what makes sense to you and applies to you as a person. Then that's your answer.

God Bless you and help you find your philosophy.
Yes, God exists, that is the only reason you exist!.
When one is 15, and intelligent, they look for the rational, they are filled with skepticism. Sometimes this will last for years, or they will decide they are agnostic and give it no more thought!.
The thing you must realize is God is beyond what humans believe is logical and rational, but with God, all things are possible. I pray you finally will see how this is the truth.

If you want to operate this brand new machine which you dont know how to operate then the first thing you do is to read its INSTRUCTION MANUAL.
If the machine is complex and requires some training, perhaps the company's representative will explain its function and give you a demo, handbook, manuals and then demonstrate it.
Thats how we do for our daily lives.
Now the human body... Dont you think it requires INSTRUCTION MANUAL and an ENGINEER to demonstrate how to use it???
IT IS THE MOST COMPLEX OF ALL MACHINES.
How??
1) There has NEVER been a Heat Engine to churn out energy from Carbohydrates, fats and proteins at such a low temperature of 37 degrees with an incredible efficiency of 100%!!!
(The maximum efficiency you get from your petrol engine is 40-70% at a temperature of 1000s of degrees)
2) It is the MOST compact of all machines which incredible data transmission and organization. (The neurons travel impulses at the speed of light or more) (Your desktop PC will be limited at 4 GHz)
Then to explain more about it will require a book for that..
Know more:
http://www.harunyahya.com/m_video_creation_man.php
Inshort, this body requires the INSTRUCTION MANUAL and an ENGINEER to explain its usage....
The INSTRUCTION MANUAL - QURAN (The Last & Final Manual)
The ENGINEER - PROPHET MUHAMMED (The Last & Final Engineer)
You will find instructions like,
Dont smoke. Dont cheat. Be good. Dont take drugs, alcohol. Guard your modesty, chastity. etc which are for our own good.
Therefore, we got to believe in what our CREATOR commands us.
Almighty GOD is ONE, call HIM by any name. But it should be a Beautiful one WITHOUT any Mental picture.
What we say that there is ONE GOD means HE is the same GOD for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Athiests, Buddhists and all mankind.
Because GOD is ONE and for all mankind.
Therefore, if you say ALLAH, ELI, ELIAH, BRAHMA, all refer to GOD. We can best understand this from the Hindu Scripture example.
Hindus say GOD is Brahma. Which if translated into English means 'The Creator' and if translated into Arabic means 'Khaliq'
Therefore if you call Almighty GOD as 'The Creator' OR 'Khaliq' OR 'Brahma' it is ONE and the SAME.
BUT...
The trouble arises when the Hindus ascribe features to GOD that are NOT worthy for GOD. For example, they say Brahma is the GOD who has 10 heads, so and so hands, etc...
And this goes against the fundamentals of Islam, Judaism and Christianity (As per the Gospel of Barnabas) and even True Hinduism itself (Vedas are against this)...
Therefore, All religions speak about Monotheism BUT the True essence of Monotheism has now remained in Islam only as...
1. The Church has fabricated the Trinity and mis-lead the Chirstians from the True message of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him)
2. The Hindus do NOT read the Vedas and practice Idol worship which is against their own scriptures.

That is the mystery of mysteries. some people will tell you no, other will tell you yes. You are intelligent for been agnostic. I thinks atheists lack wisdom. Einstein himself was agnostic, so where many major scientists and writters.
I believe in the God of the bible. But sometimes I have doubts too. Specially when I see injustice in the world.
If I ever become a christian, I will definately become a Jehovah's Witness. Their teachings are biblical, no hell, no trinity or other pagan beliefs. Anyway, good luck with your search for the truth.

I can tell by your other questions that you are Godless like you say. You have no warmth or compassion in your heart for other humans. You are right you are confused. The true Rebel is Christ. He was the first to teach compassion for the street people, that life mattered even for the slave. Even to not believe in God and follow the teachings of Christ is a noble thing. STOP drinking kool aid be a true rebel and read about Jesus Christ of Nazareth

God absolutely does exist. How anyone can think all of "this" just "happened" is beyond me. I once read a quote from Ronald Reagan:
"Sometimes when I am faced with an atheist, I am tempted to invite him to the greatest gourmet dinner that one could ever serve, and when we have finished eating that magnificent dinner, to ask him if he believes there is a cook."
In other words, we don't see the "fancy" cook at all, but we know he's there. It's the same with our feelings about God. We may not be able to see him, however, his power and might are felt and seen every day.

The believers in Antioch became baptized Christians, and the honest between them would desire to coach to themselves Jesus’ words: “chuffed are the organic in heart, considering the fact that they are going to see God.” (Matthew 5:8) yet who're “the organic in heart”? and how do they “see God”? The organic in heart are inwardly clean. Theirs is a purity of appreciation, affections, desires, and reasons. (a million Timothy a million:5) They see God now in that they be conscious him appearing in behalf of integrity keepers. (evaluate Exodus 33:20; activity 19:26; 40 two:5.) The Greek be conscious here rendered “see” additionally skill “to be certain with the recommendations, to pick, understand.” considering the fact that Jesus completely meditated God’s character, perception into that character is enjoyed via “the organic in heart,” who workout faith in Christ and in his sin-atoning sacrifice, income forgiveness of their sins, and are able to render proper worship to God. (John 14:7-9; Ephesians a million:7) For anointed ones, seeing God reaches its apex whilst they're resurrected to heaven, the place they actually see God and Christ. (2 Corinthians a million:21, 22; a million John 3:2) yet seeing God by way of precise understanding and authentic worship is attainable for all people who're organic in heart. (Psalm 24:3, 4; a million John 3:6; 3 John 11) they're rightly disposed for eternal existence in heaven or on a paradise earth.—Luke 23:40 3; a million Corinthians 15:50-fifty seven; a million Peter a million:3-5.

God does exist, to the point you allow him into your life.
at one time he did,nt for me because i was too busy running my own show.there was no room for him.now he is as real to me as you are.perhaps more so because i,ve known him longer.
Religion is not relationship! It is only a way we choose to serve God after we form a relationship with him.personal relationship must be the foundation.after you have formed the foundation then you seek his will in your life as far as how or where he would have you serve him.Often people jump straight into a religious denomination believing it will lead them to an understanding of God and when it fails to do so or they cant live up to the standards they fall away saying "I tried and it did,nt work" Jesus said "seek and ye shall find" "ask and it shall be given unto you" To begin a relationship, I had to reach out to him. I made contact several times a day.asked Him to reveal Himself to me,show me what he wanted from me,to lead me to the right path.I began to study his word in the bible and seek out other people searching for God and truth about him.this led me to a commitment to Jesus as christ. It wont happen overnight of course. and eventually I did begin going to a church,(After church shopping for the one whose beliefs followed closest to what i,d learned from the Bible.and to where i believe God had led me.)It IS confusing and thats why I did,nt commit to a church untill I was sure in my relationship with God. God will not turn you away or ignore you if you seek Him with a right heart. God bless and keep you.><>
