limewire is ok, try shareaza, great site!!
what you need to do with the norton is to put a hole in it to allow limewire in and out. you need to be looking at settings on your norton program and allow access to limewire!
even if you do manage it downloading shareaza is a good idea, its free and is better for films than limewire, (limewire i have been told is better for music) and shareaza is very easy to use!!
ps also never download .exe files as there where the virus come in from, not always but definately be careful when downloading .exe files!!

You've been hi-jacked by Limewire..I doubt if any AV will unblock and I guess you'll have to do like I have.....reboot your PC and use the recovery CD to install Windows.

Options, Anti-virus, internet worm protection, program contol and add limewire.exe. But you should not have any blocks due to Norton. Are you using a router? if so you would need to open up a port.
