When's the last time you updated your browser? If you are using Internet Explorer You should see if there are any updates for it.
Personally I like Mozilla's Foxfire better.
The other thing you might want to do is run your spyware and Anti Virus programs
It's possible that you have either spyware , Malware or a virus causing problems with the browser.

That means the page is eather dammaged or contain viruses & spywars & stuff sacan your pc for Viruses using the Antivirus that you have (if not yet the best one now is Kaspesky since it detects viruses & spywars perftectly & doesen't effect your Pc performance)
If you don't find a Virus it means the web site is no good

You probably need a windows update, when you go to the site below, it will automatically start looking for the updates you need. Don't touch it until it has searched your computer and then click the download button to download the critical updates. If it does not ask you to restart your computer, then restart the computer and try the update again.

maybe there was to many programs open and windows could not handle the website. or there may be something screwed up with the website
