What is the best way to calm your nervers in a club championship if I am playing it it for the first time?

Well this would be good to know,I would love to know how to calm down before hitting the ball or even teeing off

Well take a pill that would put you to sleep but only take like a 1/5th of it
I guarantee if you dont fall asleep you will be pretty un-hyped up then

Use a weighted club cover to loosen up with and continue to use it on the first tee(remove before teeing off of course). The added weight slows down your swing and you can feel every aspect of your swing. It also stretches and relaxes the large muscle groups.

A really great way to calm your nervs and keep your swing in rythm is to think of a song you really love.

My song is a very pleasant pop song that I dare not share in this forum, but that is why it works cause its mine :)

I read in golf digest by eddie merrins to toss a golf ball in front of you before teeing off. it works extremely well.
