This garlicky sauce from Argentina is great spooned over beef or chicken.
1 cup (packed) fresh Italian parsley
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup (packed) fresh cilantro
2 garlic cloves, peeled
3/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
Puree all ingredients in processor. Transfer to bowl. (Can be made 2 hours ahead. Cover and let stand at room temperature.)
I like to rub my steaks with the sauce an hour or two before cooking, Garlic bread and a ceasar salad are excellent side dishes with this.

Great question. Marinate the steak for a day in Red Wine Vinegar, Garlic Powder, and Black/White Pepper. The next day cut Green/Red Pepper, Onion, and Mushrooms into small pcs.
I saute these while cooking either potatoes or noodles. While the saute or boiling is going on I cut the steak into strips/chunks. You can mash the potatoe and add the saute diretly to the mix. Put this mixture in the oven under the broiler until browned on top. If you use the noodles, mix all the saute with a cheese sauce that you can find in most cookbooks, and add a veg such as green beans or broccoli. You'll love it

If you like bleu cheese, melting some on during the final minute or two of cooking can be excellent! You could also make a balsamic glaze for it, or a red wine sauce. I like to serve sirloin with steamed asparagus and I usually forgo bread. If I'm going to serve a starch it's usually roasted garlic mashed potatoes or even just roasted whole baby Yukon gold potatoes.

Hi you could always make a beef stroganoff.
Ingredients
1lb steak cut up into thin bite size pieces
mushrooms sliced thinly (about 8oz or more if you like them)
1 large cooking onion sliced thinly
butter
1 pot sour cream
1 glass dry wine.
method.
Melt a good tablespoon of butter in a frying pan,add your onion, cook them but dont let them brown, when cooked drain them saving butter and add mushrooms.Cook the mushrooms till soft, tip cooked mushrooms in with onions including any juices.Tip a heaped spoon of plain flour and a pinch of salt and ground pepper into a plastic sandwich bag and add your meat.Shake the bag making sure all the meat is coated.Tip contents into a sieve to get rid of excess flour, melt a large spoon of butter into pan and flash fry steak in stages tll all meat has been cooked. This only takes a few minutes for each batch. When all the meat has been cooked put all the ingredients together in the pan, onions, mushrooms, meat then add a good cup of wine into the pan.slowly bring to the boil, add more wine if you feel its too thick.Taste for seasoning, add more if you need it and just before serving add sour cream(Dont add till your ready to serve and whatever you do dont let it boil+it must be dry unsweetened white wine.I serve this with rice and warm crusty bread. Its so easy to make and ive yet to make it and someone not think ive been slaving over a hot stove all day.It takes longer to prepare than cook.I hope if you try it you enjoy it.

Cut into 1" to 1 1/2" thick cubes, make kabobs with thick sliced peppers, onions, mushrooms and grill for about 10-12 minutes for medium rare. Turn every 2-3 minutes.
Serve with hummus and pita bread.

in case you merely like the exterior brown and carmelized with the middle nevertheless medium uncommon, i advise pan searing somewhat of the broiler! once you've a forged iron skillet, that works maximum suitable, yet any fry pan will do in a pinch. warmth somewhat canola or vegetable oil up until eventually eventually that is sturdy and warm and then positioned your steak in...make positive the steak has sat at room temp for about 20-1/2-hour before you cook dinner it! searching on the thickness, it in many situations takes about 4-5 minutes in preserving with section ... perhaps a lot less if it truly is a skinny steak! wish this allows!

I quite like mine swedish style with caramelised onions and a fried egg on top. Another great option is with peppercorn sauce and mashed potato with garlic.
