my mum is getting married soon and her fiance cannot wear rings on his fingers, but they both want to get rings, how can he go about wearing one, has anyone got any ideas, thanks for your help.

sorry i meant ring metals he cant wear watches or rings, i guess its to do with sweet and metal mixing together, sorry that did sound a bit drastic.

he could put the ring on a chain and wear it around his neck. other then that i have no idea how he'd beable to wear one besides his finger but he cant.

Allergic to any kind of metal? Is this for real? It's hard to believe. What does he eat with, plastic wear? Does he have a car?
Assuming he's allergic to some metals (nickel is a common one found in gold alloys), keep in mind that there are many metals he could get a ring cast in. I don't know if anyone has been found allergic to pure (24K) gold. It's less durable than some alloys (anything less than 24K) gold, but could be kept in good shape. If it doesn't have hard edges (smooth outside and in), and sized properly, It would reduce contaminants that get under it.
You could also go with steel, cooper or platinum, among others. There's some information on allergies in the source below. Just make sure he isn't allergic to advertising the fact that he is married!
Oh, and from a practical standpoint, I'd avoid a tatoo. It's kind of permanent. We would hope the marriage would be just as long-lasting.
