This fruit apparenlty appears in loads of history books and the bible. Also if you apparently get this fruit there can be consequences. And its not the forbidden fruit but another meaning for this.

Durian Fruit = D & F ............ It has a sweet tastinf flesh but the durian stinks and i cannot think why anyone would crave it.
There would be consequences and alot of countrys have banned you taking it on public transport the smell is so bad .....

I think you're thinking of Dates and Figs. I don't know that people crave them as much as they used to. They were a lot more popular than they are now.
