My mother who is a devoted Christian says that she has read it in the good book in more then on place, I think she is wrong. I know all man is born with sin, but I have never read anywhere that the Lord God called us the sons and daughters of Satan I did some online research and didn't find anything Can anyone help shed some light on my current situation?

When Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees at John 8:44 "You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because the truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]. Also, read 1 John 3:9-12.

Jesus calls the pharissee's the children of the devil as we all aresince Adam ate us out of house and home. We are born with a sin nature, like our father the devil. This is why Jesus Christ says in St. John 3:5 that we must be Born Again of the water and of the Spirit. We do this by following what is written in Acts 2:38. We repent, are baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the washing away of our sins, then He will fill us with His Spirit to replace our dead spirit. We know that we have it when our Spirit speaks in a language that our mind doesn't understand. This is called tongues, Acts 2:4, 10:45-46, 19:6, St. Mark 16:16-17. Then God will perorm a miracle in your life, try Him and find out for yourself!!

Jesus did refer to some men as sons of Satan only because he was making a point. His point was that the son can only do what he sees his father do and if he does evil than he is a son of the devil. He was not referring to all mankind it was only a certain few and He was speaking figuratively. I believe you can find it in John in the New Testament.

We could be under the influence of Satan and symbolically his sons/daughters. i.e. Jesus even called Peter Satan ("get away from me Satan") or whatever the exact words were. But we are all children of God, but conceivably you could be adopted into the family of Satan, so-to-speak.

Even 2 corinithians 11:14 says he can remodel himself into an angel of sunshine. So restricted to a e book, no no longer unavoidably so.. because God is going previous a e book, he's a spirit, a author. And a snake can merely cover his genuine self for yet see you later.. because whats contained in the darkish will continually come to the mild. And he provides us understanding to figure both: both solid and evil. devil preys on all of us... merely pray in case you do not even understand.

You will never find it ...We are Gods creations .....Only when we accept him as our personal savior then we be come a child of God.The way man lives and acts ( sinful ) that is maybe why people call them sons and daughters of Satan.

Paul is talking of a sorcerer, whom he blinds by the power of the Holy Ghost. He is talking about a specific person.
Thats the closest it gets.

I do not think your mother is correct. I think she may have read that, but it wasn't in the Bible. I think that many people believe that though.
