We currently have 3 dogs; 2 are our dogs, 1 is a foster dog. Our first dog we got as a family (me,hubby,2yr old son) was a shelter puppy. We got him at age 4 months, he is a sable Beagle/Husky mix and we named him Achilles. Our other dog is a rescued Rottie 3 yr old male named Doc. And our foster dog is a beautiful 2 and a half yr old male Akita mix named Pogo.He was already named that by his original rescuers because he LOVES to jump and can jump HIGH. He will run and jump, but mainly just stands in one place and jumps around (like a pogo stick) when he is happy or playing.The main reason he came to us to foster was we had the highest fence in our backyard! (7ft) Cute ?,should be fun answers.

Lady Godiva is a turkey that was nearly naked when I got her.The geese are Pickles and Parsley. Bunnys are Checkers, Smoki and Smudge. Guinea pigs are RuPaul and Timothy. Rooster is Levi. Cats are Evinrude, Spyke, Miki and Peaches.

There are five animals in my house at the moment, four dogs and my cat.
The oldest dog (10 1/2) is Max, a Beagle/Basset Hound mix. We got him at Pet-Go-Round.
Misty (6) is a full basset--a French blue basset, I think. She's a rescue dog.
Loki (5) is three-quarters basset. He is the oldest, smallest, and absolute stupidest of Misty and Max's puppies (they had seven).
Fritz (age unknown, probably no more than one) is full basset. He's our foster dog--we foster for BROOD (Basset Rescue Of Old Dominion)--and he's cute as they come.
Chesapeake Remus--Chessie for short--is my cat, five months of age. He's a grey-and-brown tabby.

I got a cat 8 years ago and my friend named him Moses. When I got my dog 3 years ago, I wanted to stick with the biblical theme and named him Ezekiel, but we just call him Zeke.
