What is the best way to dispose of automotive anti-freeze?

Talk to your local refuse disposal people, or a garage (auto shop). You may have to pay.
Do NOT pour it into a drain, river or hole in the ground. This stuff if toxic and should not be released into the environment. Make sure that you are storing it somewhere that is inaccessible to animals or children. The glycol in antifreeze makes it taste sweet - the substances produced as your body metabolises the glycol are toxic.

Please, Never pour it on the ground. It can kill animals and it can go into the water supply that we drink.
You can take it to an automotive garage or somewhere like that.

Your friendly neighborhood landfill or transfer station may have a special container to dump it.

Many garages will recycle it for you. You could call around and find out before you go.
