It depends on the room. What kind of shape are the walls in? Are they cracked? Are there several holes that need to be patched? What color are the walls? What color are you painting? How many windows, doors and other obstacles do I need to paint around? Are you painting the trim?
If you are making drastic color changes, it requires priming and more paint, therefore more time. Patching and repairs take more time. Painting around doors and windows takes longer. Painting trim is time consuming.
I price paint jobs based on how much time I think it will take and how much I will need in paint and other materials. I usually figure $15 per hour for my time, and add in the material costs.

As you can see by the last answer and mine it will differ from state to state, I get $40 hr plus materials BUT I can usually paint a room in a day. Like anything else you buy an extra is extra $ (repairing walls) but caulking and minor holes are all just part of the trade. good luck. As far as doing it on your own your probably looking no more than $100. good luck

parent for consumer-friendly shape (no fancy flooring, homestead windows, etc.), you're observing $200 to $250 a sq. foot in shape expenses, reckoning on the fee of the supplies. this encompasses a commencing place/slab, framing, electric, plumbing, and drywall. That leaves the portray and flooring to you.

Hi jessica c, about $50-$100 bucks for the "paint", plus rollers, pads and trays...a couple of paint brushes...I'd say "YOU" could do it for under $200 bucks! XOXO Moonpie
