The one i use is COLLINS GEM by Pierre- henri cousin.

But it is an eng- fre. fre-eng dictionary which i find very useful.

Take the ones that have the phonetic transcription to help you pronounce the words.

I am french and i use collins which seems the best.

Can I give you an advice.

If you know french a bit use a Larousse which is french dictionnary and try the explanation in french
I use when I read english the Collins exclusively englisH
