Just so you know, all products that are sold in a grocery store have to (by law) have an expiry date on them. I have eaten chocolate from Easter 2004 and survived so go ahead and do it. Strange and interesting fact if your interested though, 'Honey is the only thing that does not spoil' What kind of company puts their expiry date on Valentine's Day anyways?

It is ok to eat it .Expired dairy products turn bad.some become breeding zones for fungus.some turn sour or bitter.the taste of chocolate starts becoming bad

The experation date is actullay the last day grocery stores are suppose to sell the product. If you bring home some milk and you can drink it up to 7 days after the experation date.

those dates tell you that it is best if eaten by whatever date. some items are still good after that date. that is when the brain comes into view. smell it, taste it, look at it. then make your decision

Bacteria will grow on it because of the non preservatives, but it takes longer than most. If the candy develops a white posery substance on it, it is't cocaine...it's bacteria/

it is ok to eat it... the expiration date is there b/c it may not be 100% perfect had it been eaten before the expiration date.
