"You're going to Hell, sinner"; "I'm going to Heaven, you're going to Hell"; "Just wait until you face your maker"

Can't you almost see the sneer and hear the childish "nah, nah, nahnah nah nah" ?

I can not speak for the motivations of others, but I will tell you why I do this: I would not want you to spend one second in Hell. And if I did not do what I could to warn you about it, then I would be guilty of negligence.

Bill Weise went to hell and wrote about his experience in his book, 23 Minutes in Hell. You can hear or see his testimony on SpiritLessons.com.

Me, I am not trying to brag, but I am the least qualified person to be given a spot in Heaven. I only hope that I can meet you there and say hello to you. I hope that you get to meet God as your Father and not as your Judge.

The good news is that if I can get a ticket, than you can to.

Listen to Bill Weise and then make your decision.

Yes pride is a sin,I find most christians to be humble, but I'am sure their are some that gloat and have the sin of pride when they should'nt, the reason I say this is because we are all sinners, even the very best of us.We are forgiven by the grace of God,a true christian should try to do the same if we want to be like the image of God,and ask for Gods forgiveness when we Fail.Everyone of us helped put Jesus on the cross, not just some of us.I do find it hard to believe how one can Gloat about having God though when we all know he is availiable to us all,all anybody as to do is ask,so how can one Gloat about it.

"Gloating" is a behaviour of the complacent, not necessarily a trait of all Christians. You can not subscribe a character flaw to a set of religious theocracies. Religious scholarship is not a PERSON it is merely a series of spiritually-prescribed, moral 'values' enshrined in religious custom.

You are trying to PERSONIFY a THEORY. You can't.

being puffed up in pride is a sin. it is not only Christians that say your going to hell, I've heard Muslims say it also. to be fair you cannot only blame Christians. God makes final decision in these matters not man.

I've gotten all those invectives and more. Religion is the ultimate school yard "i'm right and you're wrong, so nah!" (sticks out tongue)

EVERY one will face the Maker, including the believers in God. I must say that it IS wrong and bad of the Christians who gloat. They shouldn't do that.
