John Chapter 3, verse 16 --For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life..Through the spirit of God Jesus was conceived by Mary. Mary become his mother when he became man as he was sent by God to save the world from sinners.

I am not sure that I entirely understand what you're asking. So if my answer doesn't fit, Sorry!

It seems that you're confused by the word "Lord" in the scripture.
In Luke 4:8 the expression "Lord thy God" is used by Christ in his conversation with the Devil. Thus the expression in your quotation similarly refers to God not to Christ our Lord.

For example, in ASV, Psalm 8:18 the following permits us to see who the Lord God is, " 9O Jehovah, our Lord, How excellent is thy name in all the earth!"

God Jehovah used his Holy Spirit to transfer the heavenly being that was his only begotten son into a fetus in Mary's womb. This one we came to know as Jesus Christ.

(ASV) Luke 1:35, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also (1) the holy thing which is begotten (2) shall be called the Son of God.(1) Or that which is to be born shall be called holy, the Son of God 2) Some ancient authorities insert of thee )

Gospel According to Saint Luke
Chapter 1
46 And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord. 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48 Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 49 Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear him.

"Shall call me blessed"... These words are a prediction of that honour which the church in all ages should pay to the Blessed Virgin. Let Protestants examine whether they are any way concerned in this prophecy.

51 He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 54 He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy: 55 As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.

Jesus was the Begotten of God, not Mary. She was the vessel.
