The lorikeet's main diet consists of nectar and fruit. They can eat some greens and some seed. Special diets which can be purchased at most pet stores have been formulated to feed the bird in either a wet form as a nectar or in a dry form as a powder. Make sure you have water near the powder, if that is what you are feeding, so the bird can take drinks while eating. Fresh fruit or unsweetened canned fruit should be fed regularly.

Yes, you read that in the posts from your last post. I cannot believe that the pet store sold you a bird without telling you what to purchase for it's care.

1. Go to the store and purchase the nectar that they eat and proper feeding equipment for this bird. Also purchase SEVERAL EXTRA food containers since you will need to steralize and clean them often!

2. Feed your bird!

3. Now go to the book store and purchase books on your bird's care.

4. Research!

5. Make sure that you have a large enough cage for your bird AND toys!

Lories and lorikeets eat fruit and nectar. You can feed them baby foods instead, like fruit creams for babies (you mix the powder with water, make the cream, and put it in the bird's bowl).
