then how can I burn in Hell "for eternity"?

Which is it?

Excellent deduction. And would a loving God burn someone for an eternity? We are made in his image...would a loving father burn their child forever for doing wrong? Of course not!

An even more convincing scripture than the one you quoted...Romans 6:7, "For he who has died has been acquitted from his sin." Debt paid. Just as our Creator told us back in Genesis. The punishment for disobedience was death. NOT eternal torment.

And the scripture I quoted, as well as the one quoted in your question are both in the book of Romans...written AFTER Jesus was put to death and resurrected...therefore still "relevant".

You are quoting correctly. The scripture is from Rom 6:23. If you read Rom 6:7, you'll see that all that die are freed from their sin, no matter what that sin was! (KJV) "For he that is dead is freed from sin"

Since sin is paid for, gone, upon dying, there is only eternal death for those who do not have faith! An extremely known scripture John 3:16 tells it all.

It says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

If you turn it around 180 degrees, you get "whosever does not believe in him shall perish and not have everlasting life!

More specifically see: Sheol and Judgment, Rev 20:11-15 in the following link. This discussion is a bit heavy.

Friend you are so carnally minded, you won't even know your nose in front of you. You said it just perfect except for one thing How will I burn in hell for eternity, You won't, You will burn in the lake of Fire for a period of time, base upon what sins you did in this life & then you will cease to exist. Turn to Rev.20: 12-15 Read it, What is cast into the lake of fire, Death, Grave, Hell, Sea, & all, Death, Grave, Sea, & hell, & the false prophet, & satan, & the beast, is all cast into the lake of fire to burn until their allotted time is up, Then they will cease to exist. It could be millions of yrs, But One day it will stop. Because if a person burn forever in the lake of fire, without end, then they too have eternal life & ther eis only one form of Eternal life & that is Jesus Christ.

Hell is eternal death of the soul. There is no spiritual growth in hell. In heaven we will continue to grow spiritually. This present life is only a start----it is not the end for anyone. Hell is not an end, but an endless state of spiritual limbo in which no progress can ever be made. There is no escaping hell's grip.

sure, whilst sin entered the international so did dying. all of us could die the 1st dying for confident. those are the wages(earnings) for committing unique sin. as long as we are interior the flesh we can all proceed to sin until the day we die. that's barely then that our sinning will stop.

The 'wages of sin is death' spiel was only relevant BEFORE Jesus was cruxified. Jesus' death abolished the occurance of spiritual death.

People only go to Hell, according to Christianity, for not accepting the Holy Spirit and for not accepting Christ as their saviour.

It's called eternal death! It's complete seperation from God. Somethng none of us have experienced ever...even those who do not believe are still under the grace of God. Once that is gone you will experience a truly godless existance...forever.

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
