Have you been shaving? Sometimes that irritates the skin and then when the hairs grow back they get ingrown. To help with that you can use a loofa and some exfoliating washes.

If you maybe wore new pants they could have had a chemical on them that you were allergic to. It could also be from any new creams or stuff like that.

I don't think you should use your acne cream on it, because you're not sure what it is. It would be best to go to a dermatologist and have him/her check it out. That's always better anyway because you don't want to mess up your skin.

ive gotten that all my life. it comes and goes. sometimes stays for years i get them on my stomach and chest as well sometimes, they can be little goosepimpley things which everyone gets,a form of fungal infection or a rash, the last two you can ask your pharmascist for a cream to treat. they are not dangerous and unfortunately if they are the pimply ones there is nothing you can do but get lots of sun, wash well and hope they go away.

Need more detail but read about follicilitis. This is when your hair follicles get infected or something like that. I have it too. I'm too intoxicated to explain it understandably but check it out.

You need to keep yourself clean, bathed, not too oily or dry, use an anti-bacterial soap and stay out of hot tubs. sorry i'm drunk....

good luck

go and see a doctor about it, do not mess around with it, or be asking others how to, or what is it, everyone is different so why are you messing around with getting answers that may make it worse, go to a doctor, and get the right answer, and if he don't go to another one.
