For some reason, Microsoft almost doubles the cost of Vista in countries outside the US. And they won't allow anyone to order it (0r any MS products) from US stores. As an expat in Korea, I'll be grumpy to pay the extra money, but will do it. If I can do so in English!

My friend, the only way that you can purchase Vista, right now, is if you have someone buy it for you and have them ship it to you. You might try ordering it and having it shipped to an address back in the world, and then have them ship it to you.

One more idea would be to purchase a computer that already has Vista installed.

My suggestion would be to wait a few months while Microsoft compiles data and fixes the bugs that are in it. Right now, gaming and video graphics suck with Vista. Everyone that I have talked to that have installed Vista on their computers, have had to upgrade memory and video cards.

There are various stores in Korea that offer english softwares, i suggest that you check out those stores, just in case they have the product your looking for, you might be able to save some money on it, or try ordering it online.
