i had black hair about 2 years ago and it took me more than a year to get them blond. you just dye them lighter and lighter all the time. (1 inch grows out - dye them brown, another inch - lighter brown etc)

You have two options. Either bleach it, which will probably damage your hair or maintain it at red, auburn or a dark brown. I had my hair dyed black once and I went with the second option. If you have medium to dark skin a dark red or auburn will work perfect and "LOTS OF PATIENCE" until you hair grows out all that black. Then you can try bleaching to achive a lighter tone, since it won't be as intense with the red tones than bleaching the black.

hate it!! i wish my hair was jet black and straight. some people have all the luck. but you should get a professional to dye your hair.

any color u want. go to a salon though. what they will do is bleach it first then color it the color you want. don't do it yourself though, unless u r really good at it, u will mess it up and ur hair will be damaged from the bleach.

jet black umm youd have to stick with a darkish red or a purple im guessing

how could you hate it? I bet its beautiful. Anyway yes, but youll have to bleach it go to a salon though, it can be tricky

why don't you just enjoy it while you may? it will get grey, eventually, and you can hate it then.
