I'm looking for a tax form that should say Rent on it and the current year to get tax credit for rent. The library doesnt have the form printed out, their sign said to check online. I'm looking for the form for renting for personal use, it says Rent and the year in the heading. Not the forms for business rentals. Does anyone know where to find this online? Can you send me the link? I live in Wisconsin, don't know if this is the same as property tax refund or homestead credits.

The IRS would not have this form because it is a state form, you would have to go on the website for your state. www.revenue.wi.gov. Then do a search for 2006 rent certificate within the website. The form is in PDF format, I for some reason can not get it to download.

If you get a tax credit for renting a property, it is not a Federal form you are looking for, it will be the WI state forms....
