A top London store promoted this artists work about three years ago and produced a full colour landscape brochure - the work is highly individualised with a more than a touch of nostalgia I am not sure but think the brochure might been called 'The Match' I would like to know the name of this artist and also if it were possible to obtain a copy of the collection brochure.

There is only one contemporary artist that I know of who has specialized in sports scenes and become famous for doing so and his name is Leroy Neiman. It is more than likely the store used Neiman, who is well-known and his style is highly recognizable.

Before Neiman, during the 1930s through 1950s there was an American artist who became very famous for painting sport scenes and his name was George Bellows.
