Getting to know someone is sometimes a long drawn-out proceedure. You are lucky if it comes quicker, then you can cut your losses. TRUST is an essential ingredient in a relationship.

Changed? Perhaps you have to evaulate yourself at the same time. Things never happen without a reason. There might have been something you have done that made him upset, only that you didn't realize.
Try to talk to him, find out what really happened. If he refuse to answer or trying to escape from it... then, yes, please look for another. This is not the guy for you.
If is only that he wanted a change, well, if you do still love him give him one last chance, make it clear with him, you will not offer a second chance.

Not all partners are alike. Move on. Avoid the rebound thing. Examine relationship patterns in your life, honestly. Determine what qualities you would want in your partner, and put them in order of priority. Spend some time with friends, not seeking a new partner. Work on learning to be okay just by yourself. Take a break. Then go find a new partner, but do not lower your standards.
