To Oldguy 63 how can you say they are not the same people as those spoken of in the bible?
Are you like most Christians only believing in people with Anglisized or Latin names?
Get over the prejudice if Arabic sounding names. Jesus wouldnt have been called by that name in his lifetime its a translation of the Aramaic name. Just as Petr is Czech name for Peter or Sean is Irish for John.

Yes, of course. Isa is the Arabic version of the name Jesus, which comes from the Aramaic Yeshua or Hebrew Yahoshua. Maryam is the same as Mary.

The person who said that 'Isa and Maryam are from the Qur'an and hence different people from the Bible is clearly wrong. The Qur'an acknowledged, praised and glorified Jesus and His mother Mary. Obviously, Arabic doesn's spell the names J-e-s-u-s and M-a-r-y. English didn't even exist at that time! The phonology of Arabic and Aramaic are different, so the names are pronounced differently in Arabic from the Aramaic original.

Jesus in the Qur'an is born of the Virgin Mary. The Qur'an describes Him as the Messiah, the Word of God, and a Prophet and Messenger of God. All of these titles are in perfect conformity with the Biblical text. He is not described as the "Son of God" because, by that time, Christians had greatly distorted the meaning of that term. Originally, son of God meant "like God in attributes", but Christians took it literally. The Qur'an corrects many man-made misinterpretations of the teachings of Jesus Christ, but does NOT contradict them in any way. The minor contradictions that do exist are because the Biblical text itself is not 100% factual.

No, that is just a Muslim teaching. If you read about them in the Quran they are obviously not the same people as the ones in the Bible.
