ever heard of ABC Nationals and turtles tournament and the 250 masters tournament as well as the bowlwers journal , those are a few of the competitive tournaments i have comepted in as turtles in in Augusta,Ga as its team doubles and singles w/handicap. then the 250 Masters is also in Augusta,Ga the turtles tourney in Brc center and the 250 in the Amf center as ABC nationals is all scratch tourney mostly for men but i havent bowled in those since 1996, 2001 ABC as i now live in shreveport they dont have but one local center and its small.

I bowl for fun nowadays. I used to bowl for a living after a start in Jr. Leagues. After an injury to my rotator cuff, I did not take it too seriously anymore. It's great exercise anyways.

I have league bowled for the past 10 years on and off. Currently I bowl in a Friday night league and it has 40 teams, and every season there is a waiting list. It a great way to exercise and have fun with friends and family; not to mention now our bowling alleys are smoke free the kids and come along too.
