This is because Jesus(PBUH) is held is the most highest respect as is his mother Maryam and all Jewish and Christian Prophets - Adam, Abraham, Moses, Ishmael, Isaac etc.

Are you aware that the idea that Jesus IS God is only found in the Pauline line of Christianity and not that in Unitarian or the early followers of Jesus. Where did the disciples pray? Not in churches with man made laws but the synagogues etc.
Fin me where Jesus says it is ok to pray to him in the Gospels? You can't so why follow a false teaching.
One of the commandments is follow and worship ONE God not three.

All Manifestations of God are perfect Mirrors of God. As they all reflect the same Light of God, make manifest the Attributes of God and reveal the Word of God, they are all one in reality. Therefore, each Prophet is the return of all those that came before Him and the Forerunner of all those who are to come. They are all Manifestations of the First and the Last.

Furthermore, they each establish a Covenant with their followers to accept the Manifestation who is to come after them. Moses proclaimed the advent of Jesus and Jesus promised the advent of Muhammad, the Comforter and Spirit of Truth mentioned in the Bible. Jesus said that "Had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed in Me, for He spoke of Me." To deny Jesus is to deny Moses and all the Prophets who came before. Similarly, to deny Muhammad and the Qur'an is to deny Jesus and all the Prophets that came before.

Unfortunately, most Christians have failed to investigate Islam with an open mind. Islam means submission to God, so in response to the person who said that Jesus would not say that Islam is the only way to God: Islam means "Submission to God". It is not one particular Revelation from God, but the whole progressive revelation of God to mankind, throughout all ages and throughout the universe. Unless one submits to the ordinances of God, one cannot come near unto God. Jesus taught Islam.

Jesus Christ does not fit in the list you are trying to put him in. He is much greater that Adam, Abraham, Moses Isaac etc.

The Bible is the only book that deserves the highest attention from mankind. It has eternal life through Christ Jesus.......that makes it the most important book and Jesus Christ more than just a prophet, more than just a great moral teacher, more than man - even more that the greatest man ever lived. It makes him the only begotten son of the Father. It makes him have no beginning of days nor end of days. It gives him the same divinit that only God has. It gives him the same honor that the Almighty God has. Anything less that that is an insult and is not fitting him.

It is written "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." And again "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord." Also "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen."

Most people think that faith is a 'feeling' or a 'thought' or some other thing. There are instances in the Bible where faith is mentioned. In all these instances we see that faith changes the course of one's life. There is just no way a person will here the word of God and continue as though nothing happened. It just does not happen!! Faith without works is dead. Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so too faith if it does not have works is also dead.

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will he be accepted of God; and in the next life, he will be in the ranks of those who have lost themselves and will burn in hell. (Qur'an 3:85)

Does that sound like something Jesus would say?
NO

You are kidding,right?
Are you aware that if you respect the Koran, you are disrespecting Jesus by claiming He was only a prophet and not the Son of God?

i am not aware, and i have not heard of that before. By claiming that Jesus is not God but a highly respected prophet is wrong to begin with.

The Quran take away the deity of Christ and reduces Him to the level of a human, so how can you say it gives Him the "most highest respect"? Your Quran defames Him and rejects His mission of salvation, and make Him inferior to your prophet who was a murderer.

Frankly, the Qur'an is not the book that the Christians follow, therefore its teachings do not apply to them.

No, because to me Jesus is belittled in the Qur'an. I believe that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. The Word of God made flesh. In my opinion, anything less is total denial of His kingship and right to judge.
