I think based on number of flights, it's AirFrance/KLM. They merged a couple of years ago.

American Airlines is the biggest airline by Fleet size, Kilometers flown and scheduld passengers.
Lufthansa and British Airways are the largest airlines by International passengers as American Airlines makes alot of its passengers in domestic flights.

i'm guessing here but it's probably one of the american carriers. (massive and mature american market and long haul routes to absolutely everywhere plus a fully deregulated industry/market)
