Does that mean that politics is more sacred than religion to them? I mean if you have enough guts to say "Accept Christ or you'll go to hell" or "There is no God" you should feel fine saying who you voted for in general elections.

It's hard to be dead-on about politics. It's difficult to vote for people, because nobody has all of the same thoughts/values/beliefs as the voter. Same for proposals. Two options aren't easily decided on, because of conflicting standards.

It's common that people regret voting for what they did, because they weren't completely set on something at the time. People aren't even sure if they'll be shamed or praised by others for how they voted. So it's different in regards to politics.

When I see questions like this I wonder just where the heck I have been all my life. I speak to people all the time around election time and always make my feelings known. But I am also a Christian, I know many Christians and people of other faiths and the subject of religion almost never comes up. And I have surely never told anyone that they would go the hell for not being Christian.

Are most of the people in here teenagers? Must be.

The person to whom you say "Accept Christ" is like voter he would never like to disclose to the people of his present religion that he would join Christanity, same kind of fear is there in a voter.
On the other hand the person who says"Accept Christ" is like political party in the election who openly condemn the other side.
Hence both politics and religion are similar things equally scaring!

I am not ashamed of the Lord Jesus Christ, but not too long ago, I voted for Bill Clinton. You guys are the first too know and it has nothing to do with being sacred.
