Only you know that! It will however, probably be a seamless process in which yoy will go from thinking about it, to accepting it.I have to say though, that largely, faith is not thought about by most people. They simply accept what they have been taught. That's where the 'faith' comes in. When you have faith, one tends to think within the confines of that belief, seldom if ever seriously questioning anything that your faith already has an answer for. And if, and when, you lose your faith, or discard it, it can be quite a liberating feeling. You find yourself asking questions and looking into things which you, previously you didn't think about, because your faith had already given you the answers. So beware! If you 'accept' a faith, you will probably be subconciously confining your thoughts and questions!

It is written "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." And again "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord." Also "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen."

Most people think that faith is a 'feeling' or a 'thought' or some other thing. There are instances in the Bible where faith is mentioned. In all these instances we see that faith changes the course of one's life. There is just no way a person will here the word of God and continue as though nothing happenned. It just does not happen!! Faith without works is dead. Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so too faith if it does not have works is also dead.

Hello Katie, when you receive what you know in your heart is the easiest way for me to describe it...

You know what you believe in your head, and then when you feel your hearts received the knowledge, that's when you've accepted it...(you usually know inside) hope this helps ....

God spoke to me but it didn't happen immediately, only once I had entertained every other possibility but the truth.
