Silicon sticks to the surface inside the tanks . How are the cars treated when they are repaired, are the tanks cleaned properly.!!!

The vehicles which deliver the fuel are perfectly capabl;e of drawing it out again with the powerful on-board pumps. They are also capable of delivering a chemical-wash to clean out the tanks.

The amount of silicone which may stick to the walls of a fuel tank once the tank is drained, is not enough to worry about.

It's really amusing to think how people are allowing people to rip them off with such huge repair bills. Just removing the sensor and scraping it clean would do the trick in most cases.

It is very easy. They use pumps.
