Hi Tmk, If you try and try and try again, and they don't want to change,maybe because it's new and they are afraid of something different. A lot of people are not sure about theirselves in changes..
If you have try your best and they still will not change it's time to move on and change the subject. At least you gave your best,and that is all you can do. A Friend..

You want others to change (grow!) with time. There are several developmental milestones that we all go thru in life, and each results in change. Look for the deepest within (compassion, honesty, warmth, intelligence) as these rarely change and actually shape the change process so that growth occurs. To not change makes one stale, negative, crippled in life, self destructive, immature and ignorant.

Know that the person you love is not going to change and then decide of you can be happy with that person, exactly as he or she really is. People generally don't change, and it's impossible to mold another person into someone you need them to be, if that's not how they really are in the first place.

As they say, change is the only constant thing in this world. So expect that, that person or even yourself will change...either for the better or might be bad. So make sure your relationship wont lose track into getting better during the process of changes.

this is all by luck and no body can predict it, but the truth is the the relation ships do change by time. as you grow more and more mature and more busy in other daily routine activities as compared in the beginning.

U ask ur partner. If u are disfigured and everyone in the neighbour hood will dislie u and ur partner, would him/her still love u?And If ur parents disagree with u and ur partner's marriage, will ur partner bear with that and marry u?
