Hi. I am Right now in China and I want to call France.
I really don't want to call with my computer as my iternet connection is poor.
IP cards are too expensive for me (i'm just a student). Do anyone know a cheap way to call france ???

The thing is that IP card cost 1,12rmb per minute to france ... and I have a friend who told me knows someone who calls FROM a real phone to a REAL phone for just 0,45rmb per minute !!! but i can't get the name of the calling card he uses.

Thank you for your answer but I just got THE card name !!! It's MO-Call. While IP cards are 1,12 rmb to call to france, this one is only 0,45 cents !!!! I can even call from my mobile phone !!! Everyone just go check their fabulous rates !!! www.mo-call.com

Where I am I can get 100RMB IP cards for 25RMB on the street. I call a 17990 number to get through to the states. That gives me 41 minutes of time. Some of your fellow expat students should know where a good source of cheap IP cards is. I buy mine from next to one of the local unis.

I call UK on an IP card its 30 RMB but get it at discounted from some phone shops,so only pay 15 RMB 8 min calling time.You need to get some one to help you there on this,as they can get a better price than you they can also find out which stores sell discounted IP cards,so have a friend buy the card for you and then use a China Telecom line.I live in China and use this to call many times but now also use Yahoo and Skype as well,i live in a small city and have ADSL,so it might be worth looking into a better connection,i pay 45 RMB per month,so its worth this just to call home on my PC.

I am astounded to hear from you that you don't want to use your computer to make phone calls or purchase IP cards for calls to France,the only way out for you is to keep homing pigeons instead ! For China is one of the cheapest places in the world to call overseas,buy the 17908 IP Card and you will be better off or else get an ADSL connection for computer telephony.

Where in China are you. Most mid to large size cities that I have been too have tons of stalls selling Phone Card. As Far as I know those will be the best rate availible beside calling over your internet connection.

Are you so badly off that you cannot afford an IP card.
Try the local internet bar and eamil home.
